Ebb Software has released a new 14-minute gameplay trailer for its upcoming horror adventure Scorn, which is possibly one of the grossest-looking horror games that we've ever seen teased. Inspired by H.R. Giger work who was the pioneer behind the designs in Alien, Scorn will have players venturing round a biomechanical labyrinth surviving all kinds of grotesque horrors.

The gameplay trailer gives players a proper look and feel for some of the horrors that they will come across when they finally pick up the game. The footage has all been captured on an Xbox Series X as well to give players a small insight to how the next-generation console might perform. Worth noting though that the build that is being shown off is just a work in progress so it's very much subject to change.

Every location that players come across and explore in Scorn will have its own themes and story, along with puzzles for you to solve and characters that help develop the lore of the world. As you progress through the world you'll open up new areas that you can explore along with acquiring new skill sets, weapons and more to help you survive this utterly terrifying and gruesome world.

It's tough to fully describe the gameplay trailer as it's quite a confusing experience, but the one takeaway is that any fans of H.R. Giger's work will definitely find Scorn to be right up their alley. All that can be said really is that it most definitely is quite a grotesque horror game and the trailer has the added bonus of highlighting the performance of the Xbox Series X.

We still don't have a solid releaste for Scorn, but the latest gameplay trailer officially confirms that it will be heading to Xbox Series X/S sometime in 2021.
