Star Wars! Get your Star Wars here! It's May 4th today, and to celebrate the occasion, there are some excellent savings to be had on the best video games set in a galaxy far, far away.

Let's get down to business to defeat the Sith. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, also known as Dean Abdou's favourite game in the whole world, is on sale on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Origin, and Steam. That encompasses the Standard and the Deluxe Editions of the action-adventure game, and the latter will bag you a Crimson BD-1 skin, a Crimson Mantis skin, a digital art book, and a collection of "Director's Cut" behind-the-scenes videos, spanning more than an hour of conversations and footage of development. Tidy. If this isn't tickling your fancy, then regardless of the edition that you pick up, the game will get significant technical upgrades for its PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X versions. For free, might I add.

To guarantee an even bigger bang for your buck, there's the EA Star Wars Triple Bundle for your consideration. This offers Star Wars: Squadrons, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Deluxe Edition, and Star Wars Battlefront II: Celebration Edition in one neat parcel across PlayStation, Xbox, PC, Epic Games Store, Origin, and Steam. Depending on your platform, the price hovers around £40, which is the dictionary definition of a steal for these games.

Also, Star Wars Squadrons is likely to give you a much more realistic representation of flying in your favourite sci-fi aircraft. Not that this Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 mod isn't brilliantly entertaining, mind. Check it out here.

Xbox players are quite literally quids in today, withsavings of up to 80% on the Microsoft Store. That's including Star Wars Republic Commando, the Lego Star Wars games, Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic and Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2. For those who think their Switch is the bee's knees, Star Wars Episode I: Racer, Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy, Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast, and Star Wars Pinball are all on sale through the Nintendo eShop.

Heck, if you much prefer playing on your phone to faffing about with a console, Disney hasn't forgotten about you either. Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic and Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2 are on sale on the App Store and on Google Play, and The Sims Mobile is getting the free Journey to Batuu Pack which boasts short daily Star Wars themed quests. Act quickly though, as a lot of these sales expire after the second week of May.
