This 'Call Of Duty: Warzone' Kill Proves Vehicles Have Gone Too Far

I have a real love/hate relationship with vehicles in Call Of Duty: Warzone. On the one hand, they're invaluable tools for rounding up the squad and getting out of a sticky situation in a flash. On the other hand, they're often used by shady individuals who jump in one at the start of a game and use it to cruise the map running down anyone who comes near.

Ah well, at least there are some areas in Warzone's Verdasnk map where you know a car can't get you. Well, that's what I thought until today. Now I don't know what to believe anymore, because it appears nowhere is safe from the tyranny of truck-driving murderers.

If you've played Warzone before, you'll be familiar with Superstore. It's the massive abandoned warehouse/supermarket area that's crammed full of shelves and boxes and lots of places for players to hide and weave in and out of. It should not be a place where vehicles thrive. It shouldn't even be a place they can access.

Unfortunately, as documented by Reddit user jullz2timez (thanks, Polygon), a truck managed to squeeze its way inside the structure. While I would imagine that an SUV getting into Superstore would be at a sever disadvantage at the best of times due to limited mobility, our poor player turns around after getting a kill to see 2 tons of metal and rubber flying towards them at high speed. They didn't even have time to scream

Check out the harrowing moment for yourself below. As much as I feel the driver of the vehicle was responsible for a bit of a party foul, I can't help but respect the skill involved. It can't have been all that easy to drive inside Superstore and get the jump on another player.

In other Warzone news, Infinity Ward recently outlined new measures that should really crack down on the amount of players cheating on PC. By enabling mandatory two-step SMS authentication for anyone logging in with a free account, cheaters who've previously been banned now have to create any new accounts with a separate phone number to the one they'd used before.

This, of course, is way harder than simply registering a new email address. In fact, it looks like the new rule has proven so effective already, that some hackers are actually complaining about how they won't be able to cheat in the battle royale anymore. You love to see it.
