Call of Duty meets Watch Dogs in upcoming Unreal Engine 5 shooter

Call of Duty meets Watch Dogs in upcoming Unreal Engine 5 shooter

This gorgeous shooter is flying under the radar for most

Very little is known about this upcoming game from Korean studio, EVR Studio. All we have is a very pretty trailer that shows off some basic gameplay, and a bare-bones website.

In fact, many people have been wondering if the game is even real. In recent months, an updated video has appeared on the MathChief channel showing off some more details and it looks superb.

Watch Dogs should be ripe for another sequel in the coming years.

All we really know about ‘Project TH’ is that it’s coming sometime in the future and will likely be released for new-gen consoles and PC.

The game’s website does offer up some information and tells us the game is set within the world of Mudung (Korean for Shaman) which was created by Korean web-toon artist, Seok Jung-hyun.

Alongside this game, which looks like a mash-up of Watch Dogs and Call of Duty, there will be a TV show based on the same property made by the company behind the Netflix hit, Kingdom.

Set after a peaceful unification of North and South Korea, the game follows the story of an Idol group that could be used to brainwash the nation and security soldier, Jung-tae must protect the group, and peace by any means.

It seems like a far-out narrative idea, but it’s bolstered by some of the most gorgeous Unreal Engine 5 footage we’ve seen. From lovely, smooth rendering, to highly detailed textures and bloom lighting, it seems this could be a winner, but we need to hear more.

With details thin on the ground, we might be waiting a while before we get a chance to see more of the world from ‘Project TH’ and when it could be released to Western audiences.

The game could be called Shaman when it comes out and will feature “state-of-the-art human technology” created by EVR Studios for hyperrealistic character models.
