Some God Of War fans actually do want Dave Bautista to play Kratos

"There’s only one man who could embody Kratos perfectly."

Now that his tenure at Marvel is over, a handful of fans would love Dave Bautista to play Kratos in the upcoming God of War TV show.

In the works with Amazon, the God of War TV show is in the very early stages of its development. “God of War is a compelling, character-driven franchise that we believe will captivate our global customers as much with its expansive and immersive worlds as its rich storytelling,” said head of global television at Amazon Studios Vernon Sanders. Owing to its prestige, the original actors like Christopher Judge, Danielle Bisutti and Sunny Suljić have thrown their names into the ring. But, as Bautista is no longer playing Drax in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, some fans reckon they've found a great fit for Kratos.

Check out this incredible deleted line from God of War below!

"I've spent a lot of time thinking about this for the past month and Dave Bautista is far and away the best option to play Kratos for Amazon's God of War TV series. In fact, it all lines up a bit too perfectly for him to take on the character," argued @MooreMan12. They're not alone in their assertions, but there are an equal if not greater number of fans countering this casting. "Bautista would be a phenomenal as many characters in the GoW show, but there’s only one man who could embody Kratos perfectly — and that is you, sir," said @bonus_mosher after actor Christopher Judge responded to the idea that Bautista could become the God of War.

Actually, there might be a solution. "Man, in my perfect version, you'd both play the role. Him as the early rage Kratos, and you as the more thoughtful later Kratos," said @I_Resist_This in a reply to Judge's Tweet. "If the makeup was right and the timeline flashed back and forth to tell the whole story, I think it could work." It's bold. I like it.
