God Of War Ragnarök players reckon that DLC is in the offing following a scattering of mysterious posts about the epic from official PlayStation accounts.
“I dunno man, [God of War Ragnarök] is big. I think we put everything we had into it, so I wouldn't count on it,” said game director Eric Williams in an interview last year. Similarly, God Of War wasn't bestowed with story DLC, so Sony Santa Monica isn't held to an expectation to pad out the game. In spite of this, fans are divining that the posts from PlayStation social media accounts promoting Ragnarök is a sign that extra content is on its way to the game, to be revealed in the 58th Super Bowl happening tomorrow.

"My bet is not on DLC but on a Miles Morales style half-quel starring Atreus and Angrboda," guessed one player on the Gaming Leaks and Rumours subreddit. "Might be crazy but I could see them announcing a PC port this early on," added another. God Of War's PC port was a resounding success and not only for the fact that we could change Kratos into CJ from San Andreas.
"Adversity is everywhere, but that doesn’t stop our Angry Spartan and son from meeting interesting, co-operative NPCs," said our James Daly in his adventure into God Of War on PC. "In this area, the game shines brightest. Even if you’re not a fan of the protagonists, the characters who inhabit these lands of Norse mythology are a joy to behold."

Realistically speaking, it's probably advisable to avoid holding out hope for anything like the aforementioned. Adverts during the Super Bowl cost an enormous amount of cheddar and the competition is rife for even 10 seconds of the audience's attention. Never say never though - Sony had a very plentiful 2022.
