Hereditary studio A24 drops what is described as the ‘scariest trailer ever’ for a new horror.
Despite sounding like a UK motorway, A24 has put out some absolute horror classics in recent years, not only with Hereditary but also with Midsommar. Though the movie production company is not all about horror with award-winning entries including Everything Everywhere All at Once and The Whale.
But for me personally, as much of a scaredy cat that I am, I’m all about horror and A24s latest horror flick Talk to Me looks set to join the company of its best horror movies. Earlier this week, the A24 Twitter page teased the ‘scariest trailer ever’ and judging by what we’ve just seen, Talk to Me might just live up to the hype.

If there are three things in life that we shouldn't mess with, it's Pop Tarts, White Lightning and the dead - the latter of which is what Talk to Me is all about. If you thought Ouija boards shouldn't be meddled with, how about a creepy hand that summons ghouls and ghosts?
As reported by Bloody Disgusting, directed by the brotherly duo Danny and Michael Philippou (The Babadook), Talk to Me tells the sinister tale of when “a group of friends discover how to conjure spirits using an embalmed hand; they become hooked on the new thrill until one of them goes too far and unleashes terrifying supernatural forces.”
Talk to Me is being produced by Samantha Jennings (Cargo) and Kristina Ceyton (The Babadook). Furthermore, it will star Sophia Wilde, Miranda Otto, Alexandra Jensen, Joe Bird, Otis Djanji, and Zoe Terakes.
No doubt, the Talk to Me trailer is just the tip of the iceberg as to what to expect and we’re sure there’ll be plenty of hair-raising twists and turns in the full movie. Talk to Me will release in cinemas this summer on 28 July 2023.
