Scalpers Are Selling 'Spider-Man: No Way Home' Tickets For Thousands Already

Spider-Man: No Way Home tickets are being sold for silly money online after scalpers scooped them as soon as they went live on Monday morning.

Scrolling through Twitter, there are countless fans complaining that the tickets to what might be the Marvel movie of the year are as rare as hen’s teeth. The thing is, they’re simply looking on the wrong websites. The official cinemas are crashing under the weight of the number of fans seeking tickets. So, instead, head to eBay and you’ll find tickets for No Way Home for the low, low price of £15,000. If that’s a little steep, there are tickets for several thousand pounds rather than several tens of thousands of pounds.

Expectedly, as lots of people are excited to see Peter Parker duel the demons of his past like Doc Ock and Green Goblin, the demand has surged through the roof. Some sold listings show that fans really are shelling out for these inflated tickets, which is shocking enough. I suppose that, with the leaks from the set that seemingly reveal the inclusion of previous Spideys, no one is letting spoilers get the upper hand this month.

While the stakes are higher than ever, this won’t be the last outing for our friendly neighbourhood superhero. "We are getting ready to make the next Spider-Man movie with Tom Holland and Marvel, it just isn't part of… we're thinking of this as three films, and now we're going to go onto the next three. This is not the last of our MCU movies," said producer Amy Pascal in an interview with Fandango.

No Way Home isn’t a cakewalk for our Peter Parker, and actor Tom Holland affirmed that it’s a “dark,” “sad” chapter in his journey. It’s almost like he’d benefit from learning from the Spideys who came before, which is one of the most rampant rumours about the upcoming movie.

“I think each of the actors brought their own kind of humanity to the character,” continued Pascal on the three iterations of the hero on the silver screen from the last decade. “All of them are brilliant and Tom is singular. I think that he's embodied everything about Peter Parker that everybody was looking for. He's funny and charming and... a fantastic athlete and a wonderful actor, and he has such humanity.”

Spider-Man: No Way Home is out December 15th.
