The MCU has found its Reed Richards and Susan Storm for the latest Fantastic Four movie, an insider says.

It’s fair to say that in terms of movie adaptations, Fantastic Four fans have been let down on more than one occasion. Firstly we had the 2005 movie which scored 28% from critics on Rotten Tomatoes, which somehow spawned a sequel in 2007, which didn't fare much better.

Then we had the 2015 Fantastic Four reboot, considered to be one of (if not) the worst Marvel movies of all time, scoring a pathetic 9% on Rotten Tomatoes. All of the above were 20th Century Fox-owned movie properties, in association with Marvel Entertainment.

Thankfully, now that the movie property is back in the hands of Disney-owned Marvel, hopefully, fans of the Fantastic Four franchise can finally get a movie to the standard that the franchise deserves.

Little is known about the first Fantastic Four movie included in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, other than it will be another reboot. Furthermore, it will be the first instalment of Phase Six and it is currently scheduled to release on 14 February 2025.

So with that in mind, considering that the movie hasn't begun production at the time of writing, casting choices have not been made public. However, according to a rumour from Grace Randolph, host of the Beyond the Trailer YouTube channel, she believes that at least two casting choices have been made behind closed doors.

Firstly, she believes that Adam Driver (Star Wars: The Force Awakens) will play Reed Richards and either Vanessa Kirby (The Crown), Mila Kunis (Black Swan), Jodie Comer (Killing Eve) or Allison Williams (M3Gan) are in the running to play Susan Storm.

Obviously, we should take all unconfirmed rumours with a pinch of salt until proven otherwise. That being said, with the release of the Fantastic Four reboot being less than two years away, hopefully, Marvel will announce casting details soon.
