Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II's user interface and user experience systems will soon be completely changed, so put that paracetamol back in the packet, because the headaches will be history.
User interface (UI) refers to what you use to interact with the game, like a mouse and keyboard, a controller, a pizza slice, what have you. On the other hand, user experience (UX) means the aesthetics or the arrangement of the features on the screen. According to a report from leaker RalphsValve, issues with the UI and UX were raised to the Infinity Ward team, and described to be "‘difficult, and invasive to design goals."

"‘Difficult, and invasive to design goals" could also be applied to the invasion of cane toad in Australia, and just like the UI and UX issues in Modern Warfare II, it persisted in spite of a lot of people saying "no, wait, stop." The game's UX has been derided across social media, with some taking things into their own hands to offer potential designs like this one.
RalphsValve's divinations have been bang on in the past, correctly stating that General Shepherd would return to the series and that characters could die depending on your choices, so it will be music to your ears to hear that Infinity Ward will be overhauling the game's look.

"Infinity Ward plans to facilitate, and entirely rework, Call of Duty’s UI/UX systems," claimed the leaker on Twitter, adding that it will be a "a major redesign and rebrand." This hasn't been acknowledged by Activision, so we'll have to hold our horses for now, but the redesign will apparently arrive in segmented changes.
