MrBeast criticised for new video helping deaf people hear again

MrBeast has been criticised again, this time for a new video helping deaf people hear again.

Popular content creator, MrBeast has been criticised yet again, this time for a new video helping deaf people hear again.

With over 138 million subscribers on YouTube, MrBeast is without question one of the most popular content creators on the planet with a staggering net worth. However, MrBeast is also one of the most positive YouTubers constantly using his platform to help others.

Sadly, it seems no matter how much good MrBeast does in this world, he is under fire with many questioning his true motives. Back in March 2023, MrBeast responded to the backlash in regards to providing 20,000 African children with their first pair of shoes.

Then he came under fire once more a month later for giving a waitress a free car, shocking, we know. What’s more, MrBeast was at the end of a lynch mob for having the audacity for defending his trans friend and colleague.

Never wavered from trying to do good, unfortunately, as reported by Dexerto, MrBeast is the recipient of criticism for daring to help deaf people hear again.

In the YouTuber’s latest video, while some corners of the internet have questioned his motives (again), others have critisiced the thumbnail used in the video “1,000 Deaf People Hear For The First Time”. The thumbnail features a shock-faced child with a Photoshopped tear and MrBeast with his hand on his shoulder, grinning in the background.

Other have come to the defence of MrBeast, including fellow social media personality Ed Krassenstein as well as multi-billionaire and Twitter owner, Elon Musk.

“It amazes me that MrBeast can give 1,000 people their hearing back, and instead of asking why the heck the US healthcare system didn't do this 15 years ago, Americans are attacking MrBeast,” said Krassenstein.

“People definitely shouldn’t be attacked for doing good. Is it really just a question of money to restore hearing?” replied Musk. “I’m always looking ways to donate money that are actually good. Perhaps this is one.”

In somewhat related and very contrasted news, another YouTuber seemingly used his platform to taunt a homeless person by eating food in front of them.
