The Fallout world is incredibly vast, and while we’ve had several years to explore it from Washington DC to New Vegas, it seems we’ve barely scratched the surface of what the wastelands have to offer.

GAMINGbible recently sat down with the cast of the live-action Fallout show, and played a fun post-apocalyptic game of snog, marry, irradiate, check it out below

While there’s a big long list of potential locations we could explore while irradiated, there’s an idea that even Bethesda may not have considered, a prequel.

Every Fallout game typically takes place years and years after the nuclear bombs fell, where the player’s character must adapt to survive the changed world they’ve stepped out into.

However a fan-made expansion for Fallout 3 titled Fallout Zero takes the world back to a few weeks after the war to end all wars first started.

In the expansion you’ll play as a new character trying to survive the constant bombardments, on a mission for a variety of supplies to keep them alive, no fancy protective vaults this time I’m afraid.

The player will have to complete a variety of tasks in order to gather their much-needed supplies, though the mod makes it clear that you can’t go blasting through every encounter you stumble across, after all you’re not savages yet.

A variety of missions can be played across a brand-new map that’s ever-so-slightly less wartorn than usual, which makes a change.

All in all Fallout Zero is a prequel worth exploring, allowing you to see Bethesda’s RPG series from a completely different perspective.

The cherry on top is it’s free to download from NexusMods, though you’ll obviously need a copy of Fallout 3 to go with it.
