GTA 5 free update just teased GTA 6, and fans are hyped

Could the latest GTA 5 update be giving us clues about GTA 6?

Sometimes we need to look at the past and the present to predict the future; as philosophical as it sounds, it often proves a fantastic indicator of things to come.

The recent GTA V update – ‘Cluckin’ Bell Farm Raid’ – has potentially revealed a feature that will appear in the upcoming GTA VI. Before you dismiss this theory, let’s take a lot at the OP about it, as there’s many aspects of it that sound more than plausible.

Oh what the heck, let's watch that GTA VI trailer again!

You a heads up: if you’ve yet to play the update, spoilers are ahead.

“So, in the penultimate mission ‘Disorganized Crime’, the way you do the mission will dictate how you will approach the finale. If you kill witnesses, remove the CCTV footage, and silently sabotage the trucks you will approach the raid silently. If you do otherwise, you'll approach the raid aggressively.”

They continued, “This might be implemented in GTA VI, as the missions will likely be branched much like some of RDR2's missions [...] We might end up having more freedom in how we do the missions, and the possibilities might end up becoming endless.”

Instead of fellow gamers tearing down the theory, most of them agree, with one Redditor saying, “Agreed. I think we’re seeing a lot of GTA VI with these past few updates. Gameplay and obviously the car exteriors/customisation.”

“Yes. A lot of the Cluckin’ Bell raid felt like it was a taste of what’s to come with GTA VI. The freedoms within setups, driving the train, and any new mechanics are suspect. Let alone the coveted police gauntlet seems to be backported,” said another.

This isn’t the only tease fans have gotten recently, as fans are convinced that a hint for the upcoming second trailer has been found. Whether that’s actually the case remains to be seen, but there’s no denying that Rockstar Games has started to ramp things up.

The hype for GTA VI shows no signs of slowing down, and while that can be confusing when we’re overwhelmed with various information, it makes the run-up to the next trailer all the more thrilling.
