Some of Nintendo's biggest Switch games are free for you to download and check out

If you’re feeling stumped about what game you should play next, the Nintendo Switch is on hand to offer you some free advice.

Right now, gamers can check out some of Nintendo’s biggest Switch games for absolutely nothing. Granted, you won’t get the full experience for full, but a taster is all you need to know if you like it or not.

There are quite a few big titles to choose from, including Another Code: Recollection, a remake of a classic duo that I described as “a coming of age mystery reborn” in my review.

Also on the list of free demos is Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, arguably one of the best of the Fire Emblem series, having scored high with critics and players alike.

Easily one of the best demos available, though, is Dave the Diver. Here at GAMINGbible we hailed it as one of the best games of 2023, and we firmly stand by that. Unique, funny, and packed full of missions, it has a little of everything you want in a game.

Also joining the aforementioned titles are Sonic Frontiers, Pikmin 4, Metroid Dread, and Kirby’s Return to Dream Land, to name but a few.

Should you feel like you’ve got more than enough games to be getting on with, you might want to turn your attention to unlocking the true potential of your Switch. We reckon we know at least eight things you didn’t know you could do with the hardware.

Although the leaked specs of the Switch 2 have teased a major power up, we’re a long way off it launching; it looks like 2025 will be the earliest possible release date.

As such, we need to make our beloved Switch last a little longer... These free downloads are one way to do that.
