Cyberpunk 2077 photorealistic graphics mode is playable without a high-end PC, here's how

Feel the GeForce

If you want to experience Cyberpunk 2077 with all the bells and whistles turned on, you might be thinking you need a high-end PC. The problem is, not everyone can afford a 4000 series RTX graphics card. So, instead of selling a kidney, you could subscribe to GeForce Now instead and start playing.

One of the biggest attractions of GeForce Now is "GeForce RTX 4080-Class Power in the Cloud" according to the official website. Now is the perfect time to jump into Night City and see what Cyberpunk 2077 has to offer. With the recent 2.0 patch, the game has been overhauled radically and offers an experience the developers originally intended.

By using GeForce Now, you get the opportunity to stream the game and its Phantom Liberty DLC from the cloud. This gives everyone the option to see all the beauty of ray tracing and DLSS without the need for a chonky PC.

It seems the world is finally embracing Cyberpunk 2077 three years after it launched to the rockiest of receptions. Upon release, the game struggled in so many areas, but CD Projekt Red never gave up and, in the words of Keanu Reeves, made the game "breathtaking". No really, it's a truly brilliant game now and it deserves a second (or third) chance.

Of course, one of the highlights of the game is the visuals. It's a game that stretches every piece of hardware out there. This obviously doesn't apply to GeForce cloud streaming which utilises technology such as "GeForce RTX GPUs, fast GFN servers and maxed-out graphics settings."

For those interested in playing, the GeForce website says it all, "Ultimate members can return to the neon lights of Night City and experience the benefits of NVIDIA DLSS 3.5 and its new Ray Reconstruction technology. These updates enhance the quality of full ray tracing in Ray Tracing: Overdrive Mode."
