Beloved Steam action RPG to land on PS5 after 3 years

Beloved Steam action RPG to land on PS5 after 3 years

They're rising

V Rising has been a popular game over on Steam for some time now. The game was released in 2022 into early access and is finally coming to PlayStation 5, as announced during Sony’s recent State of Play.

Let’s be honest, vampires are cool. They always will be, as long as they don’t sparkle. This is your chance to play as a vampire “waking up after centuries of slumber". The synopsis adds, "Emerge from your coffin and discover a world that has forgotten the fear of your noble and sinister kin.”

Take a look at V Rising's brand new trailer.

V Rising is a solo or co-op experience that combines both survival and action-RPG elements forcing you to climb the food chain from the bottom rung to the apex level. In its time on Steam, V Rising has grown in popularity garnering a ‘very positive’ rating from over 67K reviews. It’s not a surprise given the success of the survival genre over the past couple of years, adding to that a robust combat system that will keep you returning for more.

“In V Rising, keeping your blood levels up isn’t just about survival. It also empowers you. Track the blood of elevated prey and battle them through skill-based action combat. Test your mettle against over 50 fearsome bosses and drink their blood to unlock your powers.”

While we don’t yet have a firm release date, we do know it’s coming this year including all content that has been added to the Steam version over the years. It’s sure to appeal to those who want to fully kit out a huge castle and brood in the darkness while drinking the life force of their enemies. It can’t just be me who wants to prey on the streets and get a little blood-drunk while taking down all those bosses.
