There’s little denying that Ghost of Tsushima is one of Sony’s best console exclusives in recent years and one that will be remembered for years to come.
Developed by Sucker Punch Productions, the studio behind the Sly Cooper and Infamous series, Ghost of Tsushima was originally released for PS4 in 2020 before a ‘Director’s Cut’ arrived for PS5 the following year.

Set in 1274, a Mongol fleet invade the sacred island of Tsushima, leaving nothing but devastation in their wake. Lord Shimura attempts to save his people, but when his attempts are rendered futile, the fate of the people is left in the hands of his nephew, samurai Jin Sakai. However, in order to save his people, Jin must become something else and question everything that he has been led to believe. Jin Sakaki must become the ‘Ghost of Tsushima’.

Ghost of Tsushima is truly a beautiful game, not just in its visual presentation, but also with its stunning world and enticing story that will leave a lasting impression on all those that have finished the game. It truly is a genuine reason to own a PS5 or PS4.

“I haven't really done any gaming for the past 4-5 years. I have tried different games, but I just got bored after a couple of hours. I thought that maybe my gaming days were over, that I'd sort of grown out of it (I'm 25 btw),” they explained.

“I'm still on Act 1, but I'm too busy exploring to advance in the main story. The game is just so damn beautiful, and the fighting is so satisfying. I just can't wait to wake up tomorrow to spend all day in this world.”
I get how they feel, I too spent countless hours exploring the island and partaking in its side activities, before I’d even touched much of the main story missions. The island subtly encourages you to explore the next corner, hilltop and cave that may lie ahead.
