With the technical advances of modern gaming comes hefty demands when it comes to your precious storage space. Thankfully, we have a little trick on PlayStation 5 that can give you a storage boost.
Trying to maintain a decent amount of storage space on consoles such as PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S can be a pain in the backside, especially when a lot of modern AAA video games can demand well over 100GB.

Each new purchase of a PlayStation 5 console whether it's the original model or the new slimmer version comes with a digital copy of Astro’s Playroom already installed on the hard drive. This isn't really a problem, because it’s a surprisingly charming and fun game, not to mention that it’s a great way to learn all of the snazzy features that your PS5 has to offer. That being said, it does take up just under 11GB of storage without some realising.

Astro’s Playroom shouldn't be slept on, especially if you’re a keen trophy hunter. Once you’re done with it you can save a tidy 10.98GB of your PS5 storage space when deleted. What’s more, it’s always worth checking what captured content you have stored on your PS5, because gameplay clips can take up a surprising amount of data if left unchecked.
