Tomb Raider fans on PlayStation have been blessed with a new update for Tomb Raider I-III Remastered, which boosts the game to 120fps.
As far as remasters go, Tomb Raider I-III Remastered is a pretty good one with updated visuals, controls and more, with an option to experience the games as they were originally released as well.

While it had some problems at launch they’ve been slowly ironed out with some new patch updates, with the latest one providing a huge framerate boost on the PlayStation 5.

Tomb Raider I-III Remastered will now run at 4K 120fps on Sony’s new-gen console, making it the definitive platform to play the game on.
At the time of writing it’s unknown if the Xbox Series X/S version of the game has received a similar boost.
Alongside the improved framerate there are also several new poses available for the in-game photomode, perfect for those shutterbug players, as well as some additional fixes for the game.
So far Tomb Raider I-III Remastered has been a huge success, with thousands of players booting up the trilogy to experience Lara Croft’s first adventures, and of course lock her butler in the freezer after several years.

Some PC players have even resurrected the “nude Lara Croft” obsession from the game’s initial release with mods, proving not a lot has changed since the 90s.
In other news, those playing the remaster believe they’ve found an in-game teaser to suggest Tomb Raider IV: The Last Revelation will also be getting the remaster treatment.
This hasn’t been officially confirmed as of yet but given the success of the remastered trilogy it’d be a no-brainer to continue with other remasters.
Tomb Raider I-III Remastered is currently available on the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
