A free PlayStation download is now available, and the best part is you don’t even need PlayStation Plus to claim it.

A free PlayStation download is now available, and the best part is you don’t even need PlayStation Plus to claim it.

Everyone loves a freebie, and PlayStation regularly hands them out to reward players for their loyalty. This time around there’s a new collectable fans can add to their digital shelves, and claiming it is as simple as playing a great game.

Speaking of great games, check out our 10/10 review for Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth

This time around fans can claim the Role II: The Rebel card to stick into their treasure vault, the second of the role playing guild cards Sony has been giving away to its users.

In its description, Sony explained it’s the company’s way of paying homage to some of the latest and greatest RPGs to grace consoles, and fittingly, you’ll have to play one of them if you want to add it to your collection.

Luckily practically every single one of the eligible games is a banger, so you can grab your freebie whilst also playing what could very well become your next favourite game.

The list of games eligible for the reward include Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth (because of course it does), Tales Of Arise, Just Cause 3, Disco Elysium- The Final Cut, Ghost Of Tsushima and my personal favourite, Persona 5. Play any one of these games and you’ll be able to claim your freebie, no PlayStation Plus required. You don’t even have to beat the games either, you can play for as little as five seconds and you’ll still be able to grab the reward.

While I’d highly recommend Final Fantasy and Persona 5, it might be worth trying Ghost Of Tsushima if you haven’t already, especially since the PC port of the game was announced yesterday.

Players have a long while to claim this reward so there isn’t a mad rush to grab it before it’s gone.
