Baldur's Gate 3 meets Call Of Duty in brutal Steam game, free to check out now

Baldur's Gate 3 meets Call Of Duty in brutal Steam game, free to check out now

Instead of the duality of man, this is the brutality of man

Have you wanted to take many of the elements of Baldur’s Gate 3 and stick them in a war game similar to Call of Duty? Of course you have, we all have. Well, it turns out there’s a game that has done the very same, and it’s free for you to check out.

Before you get your hopes up that you can get cosy with any of your attractive companions, we’re afraid this isn’t an option. Still, for those of you still exploring all that BG3 has to offer (which is so damn much), there’s a handy guide on the easiest allies to get into the bedroll on a chilly camp night.

In the mood for more Baldur's Gate 3? Then you need to re-watch the launch trailer

What is on offer, though, is a chance to meticulously oversee how the elite group of allied troops you command execute their orders on each mission. Furthermore, you’ll be able to get to know your team every night after you’re finished on the battlefield, adding a sense of wholesomeness to what would otherwise be deemed a brutal game.

Fans of Call of Duty will also enjoy this, just don’t go expecting any novelty Operators to join the fray with you – this free Steam game is all about historical accuracy as opposed to cash grab collabs. Not that we’re against the COD and Warhammer crossover. Now that’s one we want to see.

Classified: France ‘44 has so much to offer, not least of all the creativity of Team17, the publisher behind it. Many fantastic indie games have been launched by Team17, so when we see its name attached to a project you bet your bottom dollar we take note.

The demo for Classified: France ‘44 is free for all PC gamers to get hands-on experience for themselves, with the full game slated to release later this year. However, no specific date has been given at this time.
