Who doesn't love to play video games at no cost whatsoever? If that sounds like your cup of tea then here are 12 freebies on Steam that you can download and play right now.

In this day and age especially, pre-release trailers can be a bit misleading, such as the woeful existence that is The Day Before. I think it’s fair to say that the first initial trailers for The Day Before were not representative of the final product before the game was wiped from all existence just days after its launch.

Thankfully some video games do offer a try-before-you-buy option in the form of free playable demos. At least that way, we can have the best representation of whether a particular game will be worth parting with our hard-earned cash.
