The weather is brightening up, and with that sunshine comes the urge to head outside to reconnect with nature. But now that Steam is treating us to three major titles for nothing, it's time we rethink those plans (at least for now).
Steam has been incredibly generous so far this March, with that generosity continuing with a free to play for the weekend offer that's live now and will end in two days. This, combined with the previous six free games Valve's platform dropped, are going to keep us busy for the foreseeable future.
The three titles that are available this weekend are Mortal Kombat 1, Fractured Online, and Taxi Life – VIP Vintage Convertible Car. We think you'll concur that this is quite the varied selection of adventures, each with their pros and cons. Consequently, you should find one of these games tempting, even if you don't stick with them once the free to play weekend ends.

The "safe but gloriously gory delight" that is Mortal Kombat 1 will arguably be the main title that jumps out of the three mentioned via Free Steam Games on Twitter. As one fan explains, "It's a great game, graphics are awesome and the fighting is fun."

But don't overlook the other two offerings, as they too have favourable reviews as well. A Fractured Online player remarked on it being a "little chill" "great game"; "Great game if you want a territorial control and crafting game that is a little chill. Good combat and crafting mechanics that are getting better. Devs are active but chill. Not going to be as content-rich as high-dollar MMOs, but definitely worth the cost," reads their full review.

As for Taxi Life – VIP Vintage Convertible Car, it's a "nice" freebie. However, we need to stress that you'll need to have purchased the base game to be able to access it.
