The Witcher meets Pokémon in free Steam download

The Witcher meets Pokémon in free Steam download

You can play this free strategic card game on Steam right now that blends The Witcher with Pokémon.

The Witcher meets Pokémon, a dream combination that looks to be more specifically inspired by The Witcher mini-game turn standalone product, Gwent: The Witcher Card Game.

The Pokémon franchise is one of the most popular properties in all forms of entertainment, whether it be the Nintendo video games, the Pokémon Trading Card Game, TV series, and much more. Recently, gamers have been talking a lot about Pokémon, but not because of the reason you might think. The reason is the new MMO indie sensation, Palworld.

So what is the video game that blends The Witcher and Pokémon, I hear you ask? The game in question is the indie title Monsters' Gambit. This game is described as being a strategic card battler with a hint of classic chess. Monsters' Gambit will have single player modes as well as online PvP. It will also feature crossplay for PC and mobile devices.

Developed and published by Basit Studio: “Ever imagined a game that feels like the intense strategy of chess, the unpredictability of rolling dice, and the thrill of drawing that perfect card? Look no further!” reads the description on the Steam store.

Monsters’ Gambits is a card tactics game with infinite strategies on random chess fields. Fuse more than 300 monsters for powerful beasts. Summon, attack, trap, and unleash special abilities for the ultimate strategic experience.”

No release date has been announced for Monsters' Gambit at the time of writing, but it is currently in its early access phase so hopefully it will be released at some point this year. In the meantime, you can download and play the free Monsters' Gambit demo via Steam right now. You can also add it to your Steam wishlist to be notified of its full launch.
