And yes, you can romance them.

Starfield is on track to potentially be one of Bethesda’s greatest games ever. With over 1,000 planets to explore, it’s going to be absolutely enormous - who knows how long it’s going to take to survey them all? Todd Howard, probably, but that’s not the point.

In the buildup to Starfield’s release, fans have been busying themselves by sorting out their holiday days for when the game comes out, calculating the seemingly troubled state of the in-game economy using the price of burgers, and even building their ships. Meanwhile on Reddit, some are spending their time gazing lovingly at one of the game’s NPCs, who many consider to be “the best-looking NPC Bethesda has ever created”.

Take a look at the story trailer for Starfield below.

Want to take a guess as to who it is? Sadly, no, it’s not the Adoring Fan - he might have had a glow-up of sorts since his appearance in Oblivion, but I don’t think anyone’s gushing over his neon yellow locks. It’s none other than the leader of Constellation herself, Sarah Morgan.

“Is Sarah legitimately the best-looking NPC Bethesda has ever created?” Reddit user bogeyj questioned.

“Definitely about to be my love interest every playthrough if that answers your question,” Duwrk replied. “Glad she is a romance option,” agreed Old_Yogurtcloset7547.

Thankfully for any Sarah fans, she’s one of the few confirmed romance options in Starfield. Game director Todd Howard previously confirmed that players can build romantic relationships with the four main Constellation companions, so it sounds like only the main characters can get flirty. Bad news for anyone who actually did want to romance the Adoring Fan, then. Additionally, it’s not known how complex these romance storylines will be.

Starfield is set to launch on 6 September, but players can dive in from 1 September thanks to the early access period.
