Sony are on a roll lately, offering PlayStation users a multitude of deals and free downloads. This time it is back with another freebie that doesn’t even require owning PlayStation Plus.
Yesterday we reported the arrival of Honkai: Star Rail to the PlayStation 5 after only being available on mobile devices and PC. The gacha-based RPG is free to download and on top of that, you can get your hands on some of the in-game currency to make your experience a lot easier.

The deal was posted over at r/FreeGameFindings and rewards Honkai: Star Rail players with 50 Stellar Jade and 10k credits. Stellar Jade is the premium currency used in the HoYoverse title and can be used to purchase the Star Rail Pass which in turn will give you the chance to gamble for some new characters to add to your party. Credits are even more important as they are used all throughout the game to upgrade characters, Traces and Light Cones so getting 10k for free is not something to miss out on.

The code for the freebies can be found on the Reddit post or you can simply enter ‘PT8TF72MQ93X’ into either the in-game mobile or on a separate web browser. To activate the code in-game, simply open the phone menu, click the three dots next to your character’s profile picture, choose the ‘Redemption Code’ option and then enter the code. Your items will be found in the mailbox once it has gone through.
If you wish to redeem them via web browser, head to the HoYoverse Redeem Code page, select your regional server, confirm the correct character and enter the code. Again, the items will be sent to your in-game mailbox.
In a game centered around gambling and having a whole lot of luck, Honkai: Star Rail players need all the help they can get so make sure to take advantage of all the freebies whilst you can.
