Remember when Sony unveiled the logo for the PlayStation 5 and everybody took the piss out of it because it was basically exactly the same as the PlayStation 4 logo? Yeah, the exact same thing has happened again - this time with the actual game cases for the upcoming next-gen console.
In an exciting reveal, PlayStation gave us our first look at the box design for Spider-Man: Miles Morales, and by extension an idea of what all PS5 game cases will look like. Back in the days where game cases came in all shapes and sizes, this might have packed a little more punch. As it stands, your typical PS5 case looks exactly like a PS4 case... but with a white rectangle across the top instead of blue.

Obviously, the fans have already took to Twitter to share their feelings on the redesign... if you can call it that. I don't think you can. There are plenty who seem pretty happy with the new look.
There are also more than a few who feel the PS5 box design is just a little bit naff, and offered some alternatives. Then again, I don't really know what these people were expecting? Most people seem to buy digital these days anyway.

So there we have it. PS5 cases in all their glory. I'm really not sure what more I can say about this? They're boxes. You either like them or you don't. End of story.
