Here we go again.

PlayStation gamers can look forward to an exclusive two-player co-op mode in Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, according to a recent leak from PlayStation. While everybody will be able to enjoy a brand-new zombies mode when the latest Call Of Duty launches next month, it turns out that PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 owners will be able to sink their teeth into a mode that will remain exclusive to them for an entire year.

As reported by Charlie Intel, PlayStation recently uploaded a trailer that's supposed to be a teaser for Fallout 76 Steel Dawn update, based on its title, description, and thumbnail. Unfortunately, it looks as if somebody uploaded the wrong video file, as it actually plays a trailer for the PlayStation-exclusive Black Ops Cold War mode Zombie Onslaught.

See for yourself below, or via this link.

The Zombies Onslaught will be timed exclusive until November 1st, 2021, according to the trailer. That's bound to go down well with Xbox and PC gamers who found themselves facing a similar situation when Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare made the Spec Ops Survival mode PS4 exclusive for a full year.

Of course we shouldn't be too surprised. Activision and PlayStation partnered up for Call of Duty since 2015, and has consistently given PlayStation users exclusive content or early access to things like DLC and betas. Most recently PlayStation 4 users were able to play a closed alpha of Black Ops Cold War, and were also the first to play the beta.

It's also worth noting that apart from this Zombie Onslaught, which has yet to be officially confirmed, all the other maps and zombie modes coming to Black Ops Cold War will remain available for all players on all platforms. We can also expect free post-launch content for the zombies and main multiplayer mode, as well as cross-gen and cross-platform multiplayer.
