PlayStation Plus confirms 14 new free games for January 2023

PlayStation Plus confirms 14 new free games for January 2023

Even more bang for your buck.

The rest of the games arriving in January's PlayStation Plus offering have been announced, and I'll tell you what, narrative fans are eating well this month.

Since the start of the year, PlayStation Plus Essential subscribers have had access to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Fallout 76 and Axiom Verge 2 and these have been impressing players. And, of course, it's an absolute get for Fallen Order to be included for free ahead of the second game's release in March. One would be contented enough with these, but the Extra and Premium subscribers now know what the rest of January has in store for them.

Check out this super-satisfying clean of this filthy PS5 here!

In the Game Catalog, players are being treated to Back 4 Blood, Dragon Ball FighterZ, Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition, Life is Strange: Before the Storm and Life is Strange, Sayonara Wild Hearts and Jett: The Far Shore. Nab both of those Life is Strange games while they're available as they're acclaimed for their affecting storylines and use of odd '90s slang by teenagers.

Then, there's Erica, Omno, Just Cause 4: Reloaded and Just Cause 4. Sounds slightly moot to offer both but the latter is there for those who stream their games rather than download and install them. And the Classic Catalog contains Syphon Filter 3, Star Wars Demolition and Hot Shots Gold 2 for Premium subscribers.

You do hate to see it for those downtrodden retro fans. The fact that they've only gotten three new games for the whole month is a shocker and it would rile me up if I was paying for the most expensive tier in the subscription service. If you're debating renewing your year's subscription for either Extra or Premium, then there is an offer on that slashes their prices by as much as 40%, but you'll need to be fast.
