This week saw the new additions for the PlayStation Plus catalogue arriving and it is safe to say that not everybody is happy with the November titles.
A new month means a new selection of titles arriving to PlayStation Plus and fans are quite unhappy with the choices for November, especially as one is just a PlayStation 3 remaster. The games up for grabs are Mafia II: Definitive Edition, Dragon Ball: The Breakers and Aliens Fireteam Elite which is not the best selection to say the least.

With Mafia II originally releasing in 2010 and later remastered in 2020 with the Mafia II: Definitive Edition, it is by no means a new release that subscribers expect from PS Plus. Additionally, although Dragon Ball: The Breakers and Aliens Fireteam Elite are fairly new releases which saw decent reviews, PS Plus members are still unhappy with the November lineup, especially as it only features one PlayStation 5 title.

“I will stop having high expectations from next month”, read one comment on r/PlayStationPlus. Another comment mentioned the recent price increase for PS Plus by saying, “pay more to get less” and a fellow contributor agreed, “I try to be optimistic, but damn. Really are shovelling the low grade stuff to us after that recent price rise announcement.”
It is perhaps no surprise that many PlayStation users are choosing to cancel their PS Plus memberships. With a recent 33% price increase and a disappointing selection of titles added each month, players are finding it hard to justify. As a result, people are taking their custom over to the Xbox Game Pass which offers day one exclusives and more value for money overall.
It is a disappointing time for Sony but with 2023 being such a good year for game releases, fans agree they really need to step up its game.
