'Prey' Real Life Predator Costume Looks Terrifying In Behind The Scenes Footage

It’s no secret that Prey has gone very well. It’s now the best reviewed Predator movie of all time and if the post-credits scene is anything to go by, a sequel is likely to be on the way. The film has launched the careers of its cast and this latest behind-the-scenes clip proves just how terrifying the atmosphere must’ve been on set.

These days, so much of the magic of movies is created on a computer, but every now and then, a production does it the old-fashioned way and Prey’s Predators were totally practical. I don’t know about you but I’ve always imagined that being on a film set must be quite fun, but I’m not sure I’d like to sit next to one of these fellas. A behind the scenes clip recently began circulating online and man, this Predator looks terrifying. Take a look below.

You’d think that even with a practical suit, the Predator’s expressions might be the work of VFX artists but I’m shocked at how much expression and movement the mask has. Imagine that growling at you. Pure nightmare fuel.

The clip was shared to Reddit by user Klaskimo and fans soon flocked to the post to share their amazement. Insane1666 wrote, “Was an awesome movie. This suit looks badass af,” whilst Indexicans added, “Imagine walking in the woods and just stumbling into this guy.” I just did and now I need to go and think happy thoughts.
