More than 12 years after its release, fans of Skyrim are still discovering old secrets in the lands of Tamriel to this very day which is quite incredible when you think of it.
When Bethesda initially launched Skyrim back in 2011 for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, few would have predicted that it would still be going strong today. Yet here we are in 2024 and fans of The Elder Scrolls cannot get enough of the fantasy RPG, which is why Bethesda continues to release it on just about every platform imaginable.

To be honest, it’s probably a good thing that we’re still enjoying Skyrim after more than a decade because despite being announced in 2018, we still do not have a release date for The Elder Scrolls VI. That being said, hopefully, the sixth numbered entry in The Elder Scrolls series may arrive sooner than we think.

In the meantime, Skyrim fans continue to keep the conversations flowing, sharing the secrets of Tamriel with fellow adventurers. “What are some little-known facts or secrets about Skyrim that we may not know about?” asked therealtedpro on the thread.
To which tintinnabular revealed: “If you're in a dungeon and see large, lit braziers in the middle of the floor and use the Unrelenting Force chant on it, it will shoot a large fireball in the direction that you’re facing.” Despite all the hours that I've played Skyrim, I never knew about this little secret and I’m not alone in that either.
“Dear lord... that's awesome,” exclaimed possiblyunattractiv. “Talos be praised!” rejoiced TheKidWithBieberHair. “2,000 hours in, I never knew this. I always used Fire Breath to kill Draugr,” said another Reddit user.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is out now on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch. What’s more, it’s also available to subscribers of Xbox Game Pass as well as PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium at no extra cost.
