The Last Of Us Part 1 new DLC announced

The Last Of Us Part 1 new DLC announced

Players who have picked up the new The Last of Us Part 1 PC port can also grab some new DLC.

The Last of Us is a major franchise. You might’ve thought that it peaked when The Last of Us Part II became the most-awarded game of all-time (although that accolade has since been nabbed by Elden Ring), but the recent HBO TV adaptation elevated the franchise to dazzling new heights.

It’s no surprise that HBO’s The Last of Us is returning for a second season - and possibly a third. After that, we’ve got the announced multiplayer project which should be getting a full reveal later this year. There’s also the franchise’s 10th anniversary in June, with Naughty Dog teasing a surprise for fans. I’m doubtful that we’ll hear about Part III just yet, but a new-gen director’s cut of Part II? That’s a possibility I could see. Just yesterday though, The Last of Us Part I - last year’s remake of the original game - was finally ported to PC and if you’ve chosen to pick the port up, you can get your hands on some new DLC.

Take a look at The Last of Us Part I in action on PC below.

As announced by the Epic Games Store, once you complete The Last of Us Part I, you’ll be able to grab two new shirts for Ellie. They wrote, “The Last of Us Part I is now available for PC on the Epic Games Store! Complete the main story and receive two new exclusive cosmetics through the extras menu.” One shirt features the branding ‘Oh Deer Diner’ inspired by the Alan Wake franchise, while the other features the Unreal logo.

It’s not the most exciting DLC to ever grace the earth, but it’s a nice way of switching up Ellie’s look for those Photo Mode snaps. Back when the PlayStation version released last year, fans were treated to similar designs featuring Horizon and God of War, among others.

If you are thinking of picking the PC port up, be warned. Players are review-bombing the title with some calling it “unplayable” and the most “frustrating” gaming experience they’ve had. The issues aren’t affecting everyone, but Naughty Dog have announced that they’re hard at work on a patch.
