The Tomb Raider Reboot Trilogy Is Free To Download For A Limited Time

This is a heck of a deal

In what can only be described as a truly excellent giveaway, the Epic Games Store is giving away three fantastic Tomb Raider games for the low, low price of nothing.

From right now until January 6, PC users can download and keep all three games in the rebooted Tomb Raider trilogy. That means you can get your mitts on the brilliant Tomb Raider: Game Of The Year Edition, the amazing Rise Of The Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration, and the so-so Shadow Of The Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition. All you need is an Epic Games Account.

The rebooted Tomb Raider trilogy kicked off back in 2013 and gave us a gritty origin story for Lara Croft. There were still tombs to raid and puzzles to solve, but developer Crystal Dynamics wove in a semi open-world, Uncharted-style set pieces, and combat that wouldn't have felt out of place in The Last Of Us.

The sequel went bigger and better, offering up a much larger world with more to see and do. The final entry ended things on a fairly damp note, but it's still a decent enough game that's well worth checking out. Especially when it's free.

Even if you don't have a PC that can run these games, I'd urge you to claim them now anyway so they're part of your library. That way, if you ever do get a gaming PC, you've got all three Tomb Raider games ready to go.
