Fallout TV series leaked teaser trailer showcases Ghouls and Power Armour

Fallout TV series leaked teaser trailer showcases Ghouls and Power Armour

Could the official Fallout TV series trailer be released soon?

The Fallout series is one of Betheda’s crown jewels and that’s saying something considering its other IPs include the likes of The Elder Scrolls and more recently, Starfield.

It's a series that's been around for a long time. The original Fallout launched in 1997 and was owned by the long-defunct, Interplay Productions. By the time the sequel arrived in 1998, it was now owned by Black Isle Studio, also long-defunct.

Thankfully, following various spin-off titles, by the time the fantastic Fallout 3 arrived in 2008, it was in the safe and capable hands of Bethesda. I think now that Bethesda is a Microsoft-owned company, it should be safe from going ‘defunct’ anytime soon.

Whichever Fallout game you prefer in this long-running series is subjective, but there’s little denying that the series has grown like never before under the guidance of Bethesda and as such, the series will be expanding into the world of a live-action TV series, produced by Amazon Studios in collaboration with Bethesda.

The Fallout TV series was announced in 2020 and will be led by Westworld creators, Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan, with Bethesda chief Todd Howard as executive producer. In October 2022, we were treated to our first teaser of the series, followed by its first trailer being revealed behind closed doors at Gamescom. Then earlier this year, images of the set made the rounds online.

As reported by ComicBook, a new trailer has now leaked. The trailer in question features a cowboy hat-wearing Ghoul. Could this be Wang Dang? It also features the Brotherhood of Steel’s Power Armour, a fleet of Vertibirds, a vault door and plenty of nuclear explosions. The latter of which could perhaps be from a flashback sequence.

We won't share the trailer here for obvious reasons, but it is out there. That being said, it’s very likely that Amazon Studios will officially release the trailer in the coming days (hopefully anyway). It’s been suggested that the leaked trailer could have been the one shared behind closed doors at the aforementioned Gamescom.

At this time, we do not have a release date for the Fallout TV series, but we do know that it will premiere on Amazon Prime Video sometime in 2024.
