TwitchCon, an official convention organised by Twitch to focus on gaming and livestreaming culture, came to a close yesterday, after a full weekend of fan meet and greets. Loads of famous creators attended the event, and as you can imagine, even more fans were there to say hi and get pictures with their favourites.
However, it turns out that not everyone had an autograph and hug in mind when lining up to meet their idols. As reported by Dexerto, a number of Amouranth fans grasped the opportunity to ask the streamer to step on them. Because of course they did.
Before we get into it, take a look at this incredibly wholesome interaction on Twitch.
Kaitlyn “Amouranth” Siragusa is, of course, one of Twitch’s most recognisable faces, with almost six million followers on the platform at the time of writing. She’s arguably best known for being one of the pioneers of Twitch’s infamous hot tub meta, but has also done plenty outside of streaming, too. Last year, for example, she spent $4 million on a gas station, of all things, and more recently, she bought almost $2 million of Activision Blizzard stock.

Back to TwitchCon though, and yup. Videos have been doing the rounds online, showing fans have their dreams become reality. It seems that they also got photos taken of her stepping on them, so they can cherish the memory forever. How…lovely? Props to her for being so accommodating - she seemed pretty happy to oblige.
In more serious news, Twitch streamer Adriana Chechik got seriously injured at TwitchCon, after breaking her back in two places in a foam pit. The incident was caught on video - after jumping into the pit, she landed in a very poor position, and it quickly became apparent that the injury was no laughing matter. On Sunday (9 October) she confirmed that she was having surgery to fit a metal rod for support.
