Call Of Duty fans are praising Modern Warfare’s (2007) 'All Ghillied Up' as one of the best missions in the series, setting high expectations for Modern Warfare III.

It’s no secret that when a Call Of Duty campaign is bad, it’s bad, but when it’s good, it’s phenomenal.

Some of the best single-player first-person shooter missions in video game history have come from the Call Of Duty series, and while fans patiently wait for Call Of Duty Modern Warfare III, they’ve been looking back at some of the franchise’s highlights.

COD fan Pozzg made a post highlighting one such mission, All Ghillied Up from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, saying: “This iconic mission in Call of Duty Modern Warfare still gives me chills.”

Fans agreed, with many praising the original Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare titles for having some of the greatest and most memorable missions in the series. After all, who can forget the infamous 'No Russian' mission from Modern Warfare 2 (2009)?

“My favourite COD ever, this brings memories," said one fan. “Best COD mission without a doubt. The original Modern Warfare trilogy will always be the crowning achievement of the series in my opinion,” added another. “Agreed! The part where you have to go prone and wait until all the soldiers and tanks pass by still gives me anxiety,” said one comment.

Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare III (2023) promises some equally memorable and exhilarating campaign missions, like a modern reimagining of No Russian as well as the new Open Combat missions, which give players control over how a mission plays out, and what tactics are used.

The new game will also include a new iteration of the beloved Zombies mode, though this time it’ll be open world, as well as more multiplayer fun, which will soon be available to try as part of some open and closed betas.

The first beta will take place this weekend, starting 6 October, exclusively for PlayStation players, with another beta taking place the weekend after for everyone else.

Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare III will be released on 10 November for Xbox, PlayStation and PC platforms.
