Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 gets epic 10 minute gameplay trailer

Activision has finally unveiled official gameplay for Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare III, and it looks spectacular.

Following a trailer for the campaign story, released last week, fans have been eager to get a glimpse of what the new title has in store, including the campaign, multiplayer, and open-world zombie modes.

Check out the new gameplay reveal below!

So far, it’s been confirmed that the new campaign will be divided into normal missions, cinematic missions, and brand-new open-combat missions, which will let players choose from multiple paths to advance through the level. Players will also be able to choose their own loadout for open-combat missions, including a range of weapons, equipment, and even some multiplayer killstreaks.

As for the new gameplay, fans were treated to an in-depth look at the game's first mission, considered to be a cinematic mission, that sets up the story and kicks of the climactic campaign. Starting on a submarine, the player's team heads to the surface and emerges in front of the prison we saw in the previous trailer.

Gameplay featured some classic special-ops activities, stealthily sneaking around, taking down guards, working with your team and infiltrating the prison. Of course, like any Call Of Duty game, there were also plenty of explosive firefights to be seen.

The gameplay reveal wrapped up with the team approaching a prison cell and rigging the door with explosives, presumably in an attempt to free the game's main antagonist Makarov, who was revealed in a recent teaser the other week.

Modern Warfare III’s multiplayer and zombie modes were briefly mentioned prior to the gameplay, though we're yet to see an official reveal. That being said, we do know the multiplayer will include all maps from Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare II, as well as plenty of new ones.

An official showcase event was also announced and will take place on 5 November, giving players another look at Modern Warfare III's gameplay, including multiplayer and zombies.
