The massively popular battle royale might have started out as a spinoff of the super serious Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare, but it's now become a beast all of its own. Season 3’s 'Classified Arms' trailer, which you can see above, has a team of agents discovering a strange device while on the hunt for the deadly Nebula gas has that was released by the Nazis. I told you Warzone had kissed reality goodbye.

The device appears to broadcasting a garbled audio signal, and while the quality isn't great, fans were quick to point out that it sounds a heck of a lot like Godzilla's mighty roar.

If you need even more evidence, YouTuber PrestigeIsKey took to Twitter to share a screenshot of what it looks like when you run the broadcast audio through a spectrograph. As you can see below, the words "Monsters Are Real" appear. A second Twitter user then replied with a looping sound of Godzilla’s roar that perfectly matches the audio from the trailer.

Call Of Duty: Warzone Season 3 will arrive on all platforms April 27. I'm sure the Call Of Duty purists out there can't wait to play as Snoop Dogg as they do battle with a massive mutant lizard in a few weeks.
