Cyberpunk 2077 gets massive Blade Runner mod you can play free

Like tears in rain

Cyberpunk 2077 is an absolutely massive video game. You could have put hundreds of hours into the RPG across multiple playthroughs and still not seen everything Night City has to offer.

However, if you do happen to be looking for something a little new from your Cyberpunk 2077 experience, there aren't a whole load of options.

If you haven't played the Phantom Liberty expansion that's obviously a great place to start, but with CD Projekt RED moving away from the game to focus on new projects, we aren't getting anything more in the way of substantial new content.

Fortunately, there are always mods. And one mod stands above the rest as an exceptional way to completely overhaul your Cyberpunk 2077 experience.

Created by AK47OG, Blade Runner 2077 Proxima Enhanced Edition V445.0 is "a massive overhaul of game textures creating a Blade Runner universe at every turn."

Yes, if you've ever played Cyberpunk 2077 and wished it more closely resembled the dystopian cinematic world of Blade Runner and Blade Runner 2049, this is the mod for you. While it doesn't offer any substantial gameplay changes or new quests, it totally alters the look and feel of the world, making every street corner and dingy apartment block feel new again.

So if you're looking for a new way to play Cyberpunk 2077, or if you're just tired of waiting for a Blade Runner RPG, this mod is absolutely worth your attention. You can download it by heading here and following the steps. It should be compatible with the latest versions of Cyberpunk 2077, so setting it up should be relatively easy.

If nothing else, I'd recommend this mod just so you can see the amount of care and attention to detail that's gone to it. This is clearly a modder that loves Blade Runner just as much as Cyberpunk 2077. They've got great taste, that's for sure.
