For me personally, Dark Souls 3 is already plenty hard. I still have nightmares about the Abyss Watchers, and have no idea how speedrunners do it.

There's a very good chance you've already heard of The Convergence, of course. It's one of the more popular mods for Dark Souls 3 and even got its own Elden Ring spinoff not too long ago. But if this is all completely new to you, you're sleeping one of the best unofficial expansions ever made.
When I say this mod is massive, I'm not screwing around. The Convergence completely overhauls Dark Souls 3 with dozens of new weapons, hundreds of new spells, completely reworked areas, enhanced visuals, new enemies, new bosses, and so much more. It is very much the Real Deal.
"Every map has been extensively overhauled with new enemy and item placements, improved lighting, decorations and aesthetics," the mod's creator TigerG1992 explains. "The goal of the map reworks is to change the feel of the areas, as well as adding new surprises and challenges, in hopes of reigniting the excitement of a first playthrough."
