Fallout: All Roads is a beautiful New Vegas prequel that's worth a look

All roads lead to the Fallout: New Vegas graphic novel.

The Fallout franchise is one of Bethesda’s most popular RPGs and that’s certainly saying something when competing alongside the likes of The Elder Scrolls.

Fallout: New Vegas is a firm favourite amongst post-apocalyptic fans, which is incredible when you consider that New Vegas was originally intended to be an expansion to Fallout 3 before Bethesda morphed it into its own standalone game.

Check out the Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition trailer below!

Fallout: New Vegas was released in 2010 for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and for thirteen long years, fans have been calling for a sequel. In fact, its developers Obsidian Entertainment would love to see its return, whether it be a sequel or even a remaster.

Furthermore, fans' hope of a Fallout: New Vegas sequel sparked into a frenzy when an apparent teaser appeared online before it was mysteriously removed. Sadly, as much as we’d love to see a sequel or remaster, we wouldn't recommend holding your breath and waiting for that to happen.

Thankfully, while fans patiently await something that may or may not ever happen, this fantastic graphic novel written by Chris Avellone should help to tide things over, for a short while at least. The graphic novel in question, published by Dark Horse, is called Fallout: New Vegas - All Roads and it’s a prequel, taking place a week before the events of the main game.

The graphic novel was released as a hardback novel in the ‘Fallout: New Vegas Collector’s Edition’, so getting hold of a physical copy might cost you over the odds. A digital copy was also released on Dark Horse digital, but from what we can tell, it’s no longer available. Luckily, thanks to internet preservation websites such as archive.org, you can read the All Roads graphic novel for free.

In related news, this Fallout 4 remake powered by Unreal Engine 5 is a thing of beauty, and a Fallout 3 multiplayer mod is available to download and play right now.

Fallout: New Vegas is out now for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox. What’s more, it’s also backwards compatible with Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.
