Fallout drops free downloads as part of anniversary celebration

To celebrate the 5th anniversary of Fallout 76, Bethesda is giving fans the chance to get their hands on some free downloads via its Anniversary Bundle.

Fallout 76 celebrates its 5th anniversary this week and despite a rocky first few years, the Bethesda RPG is going from strength to strength. The most recent entry in the Fallout franchise introduces a multiplayer aspect, allowing Vault Dwellers to team up on their journey across a post-nuclear America. Since it was first released in 2018, Fallout 76 has gone onto introduce The Pitt DLC as well as revealing a second DLC will be releasing later this year, titled Fallout 76: Atlantic City.

Now to celebrate this landmark, the official Fallout Twitter account has revealed the Anniversary Bundle which will be available through both Prime Gaming and Game Pass Perks. It will include a Vault Boy Fireworks Stand, American Bowling Alley Lane, Vault Boy Commemorative Lamp, 5th Anniversary Vault Boy Photomode Frame, Vault-Tec Quilt and VTU Graduation Cap. The offer ends on 17 January so you have plenty of time to claim it and light some fireworks for Fallout 76.

To get your hands on the goods for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4, you must link your game account with your Amazon account to redeem the offer through Prime Gaming. You will also need to link your Bethesda.net account and once done, you will see the items the next time you log on to the game. Additionally, if you cancel Amazon Prime in the future, you will still have access to the items but they can only be claimed on one platform.

Despite the recent news that we may not see Fallout 5 until at least 2030, it’s a sad time for long-standing fans. However, to soften the blow, Fallout 76 is free to download for the next few days on Steam so don’t miss out on the exciting offer.
