Henry Cavill has posted a little tribute to celebrate the release of the highly anticipated Zack Synder's Justice League on Instagram. The 37-year-old actor has played Superman since 2013 and is obviously invested in seeing the latest character outing doing well but dedicated his latest Insta post to congratulating Synder on getting his vision for the film finally complete.

Cavill on Instagram says, "Here's to you Zack. Congratulations! I know this has been an arduous journey for you, you kept fighting, though. I couldn't be happier to see your vision for Justice League realised. And what a movie it is! #HopeNeverDies #ZackSnydersJucticeLeague". Accompanied with the text are a couple of pictures from filming scenes as Clark Kent and Superman alike.

The Snyder Cut has been a long time coming for DC fans. Tragically after the passing of Synder's daughter back in 2017, the director decided to stand down from the production of the original Justice League film. Joss Whedon stepped in to take over the project and finish it but heavy reedits and tone shifts left the film slammed by many critics and fans alike.

When Snyder decided to return to work, fans wanted to see his version of events. The darker, edgier version of what Justice League was set out to be originally, and well now, we have Zack Snyder's Justice League as the canon. And thankfully, people seem to like it.

Both critics and fans are really enjoying the new version of the film, more than the original release despite it being double the length. Although it's incredibly long as a film goes, sitting at just over four hours, I know I'm not alone when I say I'm used to binging TV shows for a similar amount of time at home when I've had the opportunity. Also, it helps to watch the film at home where you can go get snacks halfway through without having to miss a moment of the experience.
