Fans are convinced that Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and Fortnite's The Foundation are the same person after seeing their debut in the Zero Crisis Finale event, which Epic Games released just last week.
To kick off Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6, players can participate in a single-player mission where they have to help Agent Jones save reality with The Foundation. It's a pretty epic event, which you can check out in full below.
A lot of fans are pointing out that there's a couple of striking similarities between The Rock and The Foundation. When you look at a side-by-side picture of the two, it does look as though The Rock's tattoos match up pretty well to The Foundation's in-game armour. The circular symbol on his chest, the shape and layout of the whole design, they nearly perfectly sync up. But is that convincing enough?

Tattoos aside, fans also believe that it is The Rock himself voicing the character, just heavily edited in order to hide it. While I personally struggle to hear how it could be Dwayne Johnson, many others are completely convinced that it is him.
To further add fuel to the fire, The Rock posted a video on his Instagram in which he says that March 16th is an important date to a "certain culture". Well, March 16th is when the Zero Crisis Finale event kicked off for fans in Fortnite, so this could've been what The Rock was teasing. Or it could've been a reference to Stone Cold Steve Austin day - it's all very much just up in the air at the moment. But Johnson does reference "the foundation" at the end of the Instagram video, so it's no wonder fans are making this connection between the two.
Fortnite has become this huge multiversal franchise, so it would not be surprising at all if it turned out that The Foundation was indeed played by Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson. But as of right now, it's all just simply fan theories, so we're going to have to wait a tad bit longer to find out just who The Foundation is - and, possibly, what he's cooking.
