GTA 6 fans spot Tommy Vercetti tribute in latest trailer

GTA 6 fans spot Tommy Vercetti tribute in latest trailer

Could this iconic character be returning to us? Is it possible?

Millions of eyes have searched every inch of the GTA VI trailer to find minute details that have otherwise eluded the fandom. Some have been more obscure than others, but we’ve readily analysed them all.

The latest discovery, however, is one we’re not just analysing but also low-key excited about, as it’s seemingly a tribute to the one and only Tommy Vercetti. We were first introduced to Tommy in GTA: Vice City and his story has stayed with us ever since.

We've all seen it, but have we all seen it, you know? Check out the GTA VI trailer to see if you can find more secrets.

Amongst the cries of Tommy’s innocence upon seeing this extremely easy to miss tribute, others in the fandom are wondering what this tribute means, if anything. As we’ve seen with sneaky details hidden into the GTA VI trailer, it’s all too easy to get swept up with excitement and believe speculation to be fact.

The image of Tommy’s mansion, little more than a blurred location on the hazy landscape, could simply be an “ordinary mansion” as some claim. But if it is Tommy’s, the crucial question is whether we can buy it. “They better let us buy that house. Lol,” joked one Redditor.

On the other end of the Reddit scale, some GTA players believe Tommy to be dead by now, either meaning his mansion belongs to someone else, or, is in fact, nothing more than a ploy to get our hopes up. After all, Rockstar Games must know how readily we’re all scanning the trailer repeatedly.

Alongside an ever expanding map and other leaks that hint that one San Andreas favourite feature may be returning, all we can do is wait until another super sleuth unearths a hidden gem we’ve all been missing.

By the time another trailer drops, we’ll have rooms filled with cork boards and red string – assuming most of you haven’t got that already. It’s proving to be quite the wait for GTA VI, but it’s never dull, that’s for sure.
