It may have been running for almost 10 years, but it doesn’t seem that Rockstar Games is getting ready to abandon GTA Online any time soon.
Last March, Rockstar Games officially announced GTA+, a subscription service which charges GTA Online players about $5.99/£4.99 per month in order to get extra in-game currency, bonus missions and exclusive content. GTA+ went down horribly with fans - many were especially upset about it given how little attention Rockstar Games had been giving to Red Dead Online, and not many people really wanted to pay out extra money every month for a much older live-service title.

Despite the backlash, GTA+ is still going strong, and as ComicBook reports, it’s thought that a major new feature could be arriving for subscribers sometime soon. This year, some players were given a survey in which they were asked if they’d be interested in GTA+ offering access to older Rockstar titles as part of the subscription perks, and new evidence seems to suggest that’s actually happening.

The mobile version of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas recently received a brand new update, and according to Twitter user @NationalPepper, who's been digging around in the game’s new files, a number of new logos and unfinished UI files were found. Notably, one of them is the key art image for GTA+, while others refer to Bully and Max Payne.
“It seems like they're preparing to launch these games on GTA+ since Rockstar asked a few select players about bringing a Game Pass styled feature. I wonder how this would work. Only PS5/XSX players have access to purchase GTA+ unless it's being expanded to PC and gen-eight soon,” @videotechx speculated.
Obviously, right now, this is pure guesswork, so take it with a pinch of salt for now. However, if this is true, GTA+ would certainly become a lot more appealing.
