If you’re an avid LEGO collector, I truly pity your poor wallet this year. Enormous, expensive sets have been announced constantly, with this new Harry Potter set continuing that trend.
Say hello to the Gringotts Wizarding Bank - Collectors’ Edition - a 4803-piece set which, you guessed it, forms a huge, blocky recreation of the iconic bank from the Harry Potter series. As well as the main foyer area, the set also includes the underground section of Gringotts, complete with three vaults (one of which belongs to Bellatrix Lestrange). Oh, and there’s a functional mine cart track which spirals all the way down to the bottom of the set.

“Be transported to the Wizarding World as you build this LEGO Harry Potter Gringotts Bank – Collectors’ Edition set,” the set’s official description reads. “Recreate the bank’s opulent foyer and mezzanine floor with a safe in the wall to store Hagrid’s secret letter. Construct a spiralling vault cart track with a mechanism that stops the cart at each of three underground vaults – including Bellatrix’s vault, which has a magical surprise inside! The set also includes a posable Ukrainian Ironbelly dragon figure and a buildable model of the Magical Menagerie shop.”

As well as the set itself, 13 minifigures are included, including two of Harry himself (one of which is young and carefree, the second is older and has seen things), and one of Hagrid, not to mention Ron and Hermione (who can also be altered to become Bellatrix, like in The Deathly Hallows: Part 2).
Now for the big question - how much does this thing cost? Brace yourself - it’s already available to preorder for a spicy £369.99 ($429.99). Whew.
