LEGO Red Dead Redemption is the game we didn't know we needed

Somebody has recreated Red Dead Redemption 2 game in the style of LEGO, and it’s making us wish it was a real thing.

LEGO is no stranger to video game adaptations as well as a few original creations. They’ve tackled enormous franchises, like Harry Potter, DC, The Lord of the Rings, and who could forget the beloved Lego Star Wars.

It’s safe to say the Danish building block brand can take just about any franchise and turn it into and turn it into a charming parody of itself, but I bet you’ve never thought about Lego Red Dead Redemption before…

Reddit user Candid-Revenue-3326 shared their own recreation of the game’s cover-art, revamped and recreated in LEGO form, using real-life bricks and some clever editing, and it’s beautiful. In fact, it’s so impressive that it’s got us wondering what a LEGO version of Red Dead Redemption’s 2 story would look like and how it’d feel to play.

We’re not alone on this either, as the comments came flooding in from fans of the series who’d also love to see a LEGO version of Rockstar’s western-adventure game, saying;

“The crossover we all needed”

“I honestly think that would be a good Lego game”

“I would play the hell out of this”

One user even tried to imagine what some of the series' more emotional story beats would be like with the LEGO game’s unique style of humour, I mean who could forget that insanely funny Darth Vader reveal scene in the first game?

The commenter said: “‘Our time has passed, John.’

“Dutch steps backwards into empty air and lets himself fall. John looks over the edge and sees Dutch lying in pieces at the bottom next to a small pile of studs.”

It’s probably a safe bet to assume Rockstar has no plans to convert their franchises into LEGO, but it would certainly be a better world if they did, maybe not Grand Theft Auto though.
