Somebody Has 2706 Copies Of The Same Xbox Game Because It's "Funny"

And you know what, it is kind of funny.

We’ve all, at one point in time or another, committed to a bit right? Like a funny joke that we just keep going with because it’s hilarious to you personally, and maybe your mates too. Yeah, we’ve all maybe had a funny nickname, pretended we hated something for a laugh or even jumped into a pool fully clothed or something. But I can’t even think of committing to a bit so hard that I own 2706 copies of the same bad game just because it’s funny.

On the Gaming subreddit, one user, Nomercyvideo, has revealed that they own a total of 2706 copies of the Burger King game Sneak King because it’s kind of funny. Not only is it a large number of copies, but they also take up an astonishing amount of physical space in this person’s life and I have no idea why they’ve done it.

Sneak King came out in November 2006 for the Xbox and Xbox 360. Nomercyvideo specifically has the 360 version again and again and again, and they’re right - it is kind of funny. At least it’s funny enough to bang on Reddit. Thousands have flocked to this post to upvote it, comment their confusion, and agree that this is a hilarious dedication.

One user, m48a5_patton says that: “Apparently 3.2 million Sneak King games have been sold worldwide. You are .08% of the way to having them all.” However, as someone else points out, it’s more than likely a lot of these have been destroyed by now. I’d put money on Nomercyvideo having at least 1% of all of these games, right?

When commenting on their own post about the worth of the haul, Nomercyvideo says that: “They go for 4 or 5 dollars online currently, so if we were to somehow sell them all, it’s over 10 grand!” They don’t know if they’ll ever sell them though - but they would maybe auction them off “as a lot to someone who finds it equally as funny”.

Well, I hope whoever that is comes your way Nomercy. There are a lot of people who love your mission in any case, and I strangely feel like I should congratulate you.
